Luxury Historic House
Aberley House is part of the famous Beach Lawn terrace overlooking the Liverpool Bay at Waterloo. Number thirteen was owned by Sir Thomas Ismay, the owner of the White Star line. Further down the terraces is the house of Captain Edward Smith, the captain of the Titanic. The Terrace was built in 1866 and has strong historical links with the Port of Liverpool. On the beach in front of the house is “Another Place” by Antony Gormley, known locally as the “Iron Men”. This is one of the most iconic Art installations in the world.
Aberley House has been carefully restored to it's original 19th century elegance with rich and comfortable furnishings. Full English breakfast is available and there is a games room with a full size snooker table.
There are more rooms available and the whole house can be hired for special events. Call Jonathan Farrer 07393 502906 for more information.
Aberley House is easily accessed from the M6 and there are fast easy links to the centre of Liverpool
